Established in 2010, The TiLT is a pop-up showcase celebrating contemporary Indian culture. The event is unique because it is the first and only gateway into young, cutting edge, contemporary India. The event usually consists of panel discussions featuring industry leaders, business networking, yoga sessions, art exhibitions, pop-up restaurants/cuisine showcase, music performances, film screenings, shopping/flea market and more. Over the last 6 years, The TiLT has been invited to Abu Dhabi, Berlin, Mumbai, New Delhi, with Dubai and Argentina on the cards next.

Kshitij Marwah currently heads the MIT Media Lab India Initiative and is the Founder of Tesseract Imaging. He is a graduate from the MIT Media Lab, researcher at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and research affiliate at the Harvard Medical School. With MIT he is working on spreading the movement of anti-disciplinary learning, hands-on creation and design thinking all across India through the MIT Media Lab India Initiative.

Amruda has hotels and hospitality in her DNA. Grand daughter of the late Captain C.P. Krishnan Nair, founder of The Leela Group, she inherited a maverick streak and an eye for trailblazing business opportunities. Post heading Asset Management for Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, she has set out on her own as joint Managing Director and CEO of Aiana.

Nila Madhab Panda is an internationally acclaimed film maker who recently received Padmashree, one of the highest Indian civilian awards in India (2016) by the President of India. His first feature film I am Kalam won 32 International awards. Jalpari, his second film received the prestigious MIP Junior Award at Cannes. His most recent film Kaun Kitney Paani Main, a satire on water crisis in India was released in fall 2015 and critically commended.

Nihal Ahmed works at the intersection of wellbeing and human potential. He runs Limitless Institute which builds education programs to help young people answer the three key questions: What is it that I’m passionate about? What are the skills I need to succeed in the future? How do I activate what I’m deeply passionate about?  Nihal is a social entrepreneur fellow at The DO School and holds a Master's degree in Strategic Foresight and Innovation from OCAD University in Toronto.

Get the chance to meet with award-winning film makers like Padma Shri Nila Madhab Panda, Arjun Pandey, Mike Pandey and watch their selection of films, which includes the winner of 32 International awards, I am Kalam, the recipient of the prestigious MIP Junior Award at Cannes, Jalpari, the 2015 critically acclaimed satire on the Indian water crisis, Kaun Kitney Paani Main, and the winner of the Wildscreen Panda Award (also known as the Green Oscar), Shores of Silence. You can also catch some short films like Fat or Skinny (part of the Future Food Series) which highlights deteriorating global food consumption habits and the Road to Freedom, which sheds light on the Indian independence movement via never seen before rare archival footage.

Akshai Sarin creates a shift in perspective between creator and audience as he transforms the entire space into a recording studio to create music live, with your voice! At his upcoming gig in the city, the Indian composer, producer and performer, will combine the talent of musicians and singers, allowing a few members from the audience a chance to create an 'impromptu track' by using bottles, forks and knives as percussion instruments through an interactive session.
